A tumor is an abnormal growth of body tissue. They are formed when cells divide and grow excessively in the body. Tumor cells grow, even though the body does not need them, and unlike normal old cells, they don't die. Tumors can be cancerous (malignant) or noncancerous (benign). Benign tumors may grow large but do not spread into, or invade, nearby tissues or other parts of the body unlike malignant tumors. A person can sometimes see or feel a tumor, but others will only show up on imaging tests, such as a mammogram or an MRI. However, these tests can only detect whether a lump is present. A biopsy is necessary to determine the type of lump.
Homoeopathy is among the commonly used alternative approaches in malignant tumors or Cancer. It is being widely used as palliative and curative in patients suffering from cancer. Homoeopathic treatment given as add on also improves the quality of life, survival time and presenting complaints.
Homeopathy is an effective method for treatment of benign tumors as well. Homeopathy slows down tumor growth and even helps in reducing its size and arrest pain.
